Session Six: Love not love
First hour: We will look at and try our hand at love poetry and anti-love poetry
Second hour: bring a poem you have written and get feedback on how to improve it.
These two-hour sessions are divided between producing new work and workshopping poems you have already written. Workshopping helps to improve your work, so it is really important. Bring a poem you have written but feel it could do with more work – be prepared to accept helpful feedback. Load your poem for feedback onto our poetry classroom on Google Classrooms.
If you are just starting to write poetry and need to build up your skills and confidence this is for you. Get the basics and have the opportunity to obtain guidance on your initial approach to writing and developing your ideas. Whether you want to write for pleasure or prepare your work for entering poetry competitions this course is for you.
If you are not sure if this class is for you or would like more information, please contact us to discuss. Ask the organiser or email: email@example.com.
