Pen to Print: Celebrating The World’s Most Influential Female Authors
Farzana Hakim, author of contemporary and historical woman’s fiction, will discuss the legacies left by the most influential female authors of all times.
This workshop will celebrate the written words of female authors including, Jane Austen, Mary Wollstonecraft, Maya Angelou amongst many others from the past, to reflect and write back to them with issues of today that you feel you can relate to them with.
With a task to write a heartfelt letter or thought to your chosen author, telling them some of the things admired about their work and how their legacy affects them even till this day.
Farzana Hakim is the author of Sweethearts Of Ilford Lane and editor of Thursday Connectors at Write On! Magazine. Farzana has previously held a series of Hear My Voice, Creative Writing Workshops with Pen to Print to empower women by hearing their stories and helping them to write them down.
