“I hope to be able to share hurdles faced by women from different places around the world. This week, we’re sharing voices from the world”.
“I will have already connected with some of the writers and contributors for my Thursday connectors page to get some feedback about why their voice needs to be heard and why it isn’t often heard”.
“I will be reading a few quotes about women from my reading, including one from one of my favourite books by Khaled Husseini, which goes along the lines of, If somewhere a snowflake was to fall for every tear shed by a woman, the world would be full of snow”.
“This is very thought provoking, some women have a terrible time juggling through her life”.
“Their hardships are unimaginable to us and it’s our duty as women, living in this part of the world, with many privileges, to think about them and to use our voice to tell them we know and we hear them”.
“Our exercise this week, will be to write a letter to another woman, from a different culture and place”.
