Have you always dreamed of getting a book published?
Whether you’re writing fiction or non-fiction, this class with veteran publisher Scott Pack offers straight-talking advice on how to ensure your submission is as professional as possible. You’ll learn everything from how to identify the right publisher or agent, to how to write a killer synopsis and cover letter.
Scott has received thousands of submissions during his career, and knows all the mistakes writers make with them. This class will make sure you don’t make those mistakes.
Plus, for those brave enough to share their pitches, he’ll be looking for volunteers to submit their work for live feedback during the class. If you’re ready (or almost ready) to submit your book to an agent or publisher, this is the class for you.
Scott Pack has worked in the book world across three decades, including spells as head of buying for Waterstones, publisher at HarperCollins, and as a consultant for a number of indie publishers. He is also a freelance editor working with emerging authors to help improve their manuscripts and submission packages. And when he has the time, he writes specialist subject questions for BBC’s Mastermind. His latest book, Tips from a Publisher, is out now.
