Writing Cosy Crime: Christmas Edition

NB: To make the most of Writing Cosy Crime with Charlotte Baker, please ensure that you book your place for both sessions on Thursday 5 and 12 December.

Welcome to Writing Cosy Crime: Christmas Edition!

Over two sessions, we will establish what is meant by genre, subgenre, and tropes and how to use these in thinking about getting your work published. We will also look at the sleuth, setting, character development, and victims.

There will small writing tasks throughout to help move a story you already have forward or inspire you to write a new one.

If you have any accessibility requirements, please directly get in touch with us at pentoprint@lbbd.gov.uk

If you are no longer able to attend a Pen to Print online event or have found yourself booking more than once for the same event – please use the ‘cancel my ticket’ option instead of ‘request a refund’ before the event is due. By doing so, an automatic refund will apply.

Charlotte Baker is an author, associate lecturer, and PhD student with an interest in crime and horror and has over fifty publications. Charlotte spends her time with family, drinking coffee, walking, and conversing with the various monsters that float around her imagination.
