NB: This session can also be booked to attend online.
Celebrate LGBTQIA+ History Month with a one-off creative writing and poetry workshop exploring the power of queer voices in literature. Together, we’ll dive into iconic works by Audre Lorde, Frank O’Hara, Dean Atta, Remi Graves, Rosie Garland, as well as the bestselling anthology 100 Queer Poems.
Through guided exercises, you’ll discover how personal narratives can become powerful poems or prose poems. We’ll look at examples of queer history to inspire your writing and explore how your own story is part of that history.
