Love Letters to the World Writing Project

Pen to Print are pleased to announce that we will be supporting Love Letters to the World for the rest of the summer for 15 weeks, in addition to the orginal 4 week project so will now run until 15 September 2020.
This new online creative writing workshop for local people in Barking and Dagenham Love Letters to the World is an invitation to local people in Barking and Dagenham to get your pens out and play with words with writer Claire Steele and Boathouse Artistic director, Carole Pluckrose, supported by Pen to Print.
This free project will run until the 15 September and is open to all Barking and Dagenham residents. No experience in writing is necessary, just the will to share your thoughts and send your voice into the world. You will be guided through a series of writing prompts and exercises to release the storyteller in you and discover new ways of expressing your experience.
The weekly online interactive workshops will take place between 7.30pm to 9.30pm on Tuesday evenings . This is an opportunity to bring your hearts and minds together with local people in a free online Zoom meeting. Each workshop will invite you to share your thoughts and feeling about your experiences of this extraordinary time, and to document for today and for the future what it has been like to live in this unique moment, in this community, in your life. We’ll encourage you to share your writing by submitting it to Love letters to the World, email: loveletterstotheworld@mail.com by 5pm each Friday, and the selected pieces will be read on FaceBook live by Carole Pluckrose on her daily walk from a range of outdoor spaces in Barking and Dagenham.
