We hope you enjoy!**Pebble On The Beach by Claire BussThe small pebble sits upon the beachOne amongst many, nothing specialDay in, day out, the pebble lies thereKnocked round and about by uncaring feetTumbled out and in, out and inBy roaring tides that swell and rumbleA crab may push it this way and thatSo the pebble rolls and trickles awayStill one among the massesStill unrecognisable Still aloneA small child is collectingBeach combing for treasuresThe pebble waits to be discoveredBut an anxious parents calls out And the pebble is left alone in a sea of stonesMoving slowly down the beachWithout a place to call its own Rootless, ever shifting but without a firm identityThe small pebble sits upon the beachUtterly lost in its obscurity(c) Claire Buss ...
