In this workshop we’ll talk about the ways in which writers, poets and publishers can use audio as a means of sharing and promoting their work. We’ll look at why having well recorded audio versions of your writing can set you apart from other writers in a crowded publishing world and dive into techniques for recording and performing your words.

We’ll also explore podcasting as a powerful platform for sharing your writing – unpacking how it works and the unique benefits it offers.

This workshop will be led by Chris Gregory, founder and director of Alternative Stories – an award-winning production company known for its compelling drama, poetry, and fiction podcasts and radio programmes.

Pen to Print participants may recognize Chris as the producer of the Write On! Audio podcast and a judge for the Pen to Print Audio Play Competition.
