UCL – ION-DRI, Everything is Connected Exhibition: Writer
Deadline for applications: 9am, 14 March 2025
Everything is Connected Exhibition, 22nd May – 3rd June 2025
In May 2025, the UCL Public Art and Cultural Engagement Team will deliver an exhibition celebrating the work of artists taking part in the public art programme for the ION-DRI a new landmark facility at 256 Grays Inn Road. The development will support UCL’s existing facilities at Queen Square to create one of the leading translational neuroscience centres in the world.
What are UCL are looking for?
UCL are looking to commission a writer to produce an accompanying pamphlet to feature in the exhibition. They are looking for a writer who’s interested in the idea that ‘Everything is Connected’ (the exhibition title) – particularly the space that operates where art and science come together.
Part of this piece will be to interview the artists and researchers, understand the scientific narrative, and the artists’ work – and how this has been changed or influenced by the artist-researcher relationship.
