Pen to Print: Writing Your Emotions with Juneha Chowdhury
NB: This is an in-person event only at Dagenham Library
In this creative writing workshop we will think about our own emotions and the different images that we might attach to them. We will be using our emotions as a resource to create powerful pieces of reflective writing.
The first piece will be focused on a special gift we have received and thinking about different ways we can communicate how we feel about it. The second piece of writing will focus on a great personal achievement and our journey to getting there.
The best pieces of writing produced in the workshop will be selected for publication on Pen to Print’s Online Magazine – Write On! Extra.
Juneha Chowdhury is a former teacher and writer based in East London and won the Pen to Print Book Challenge 2018. She writes regular articles for Pen to Print’s quarterly magazine Write On! and Write On! Extra.
Juneha is currently in the process of editing her second unpublished novel and is hoping to get it traditionally published.
