Flash Fiction Writing Workshop with Farhana Khalique

Please note this is a location based event at Dagenham Library

A Flash Fiction is a short story that is less than 1,000 words long (often a lot shorter!) and can take many forms. In this free and informal creative writing workshop, Farhana will explore what makes a good piece of flash fiction, and how to write one ourselves.

Reading and discussing examples of successful Flash Fiction pieces that have been recently published in a new anthology and will use prompts to generate stories of your own.

Beginners and more experienced fiction writers are all welcome!

Farhana Khalique is a writer, voice over artist, teacher and PhD student from London, whose writing has appeared in a number of publications. She is also a submissions editor at the flash fiction journal SmokeLong Quarterly.
